FAQs

  • What is a business plan?

A business plan is a written report that defines in detail a company's objectives and the very specific steps needed to achieve its goals. A business plan lays out a roadmap for a business from marketing, financial, and operational standpoints. Research and understanding of the industry and market are also included in the plan to show that the idea is viable (profitable).

  • Why do I need a business plan?

You can't "life hack" or "make it go viral" your way to a successful business. Can those things help? Sure, but only if you have the infrastructure to support that type of influence and demand.

A business plan really serves three main purposes. First, it proves to people within your organization, external people such as investors and yourself that you are serious about owning and operating your business. Second, it lays out step by step goals that the business needs to achieve in order to not only make money but to continue growing. It keeps everybody on the same page working for the same vision. Third, to determine your future financial needs, gains and to attract potential investors including angel investors. This is especially important if you have not started your business yet and you do not have a track record to present to a formal institution for a loan.

Perhaps the most important reason that you need a business plan is to avoid mundane repetition. As humans we are programmed to learn to do things for our survival, but not necessarily to help us thrive. We start doing things automatically without recognizing that those things are not necessarily helpful to us and in some cases are actually harmful to us. A business plan is meant to keep you on track, keep you out of a rut, and to help you easily identify areas of improvement if you notice you are not hitting one or more of your goals.

  • Who will read my business plan?

Your business plan will be read by people inside your company, such as managers and directors. This ensures that everybody has the same vision and goals when they make decisions for your business. However, the most important person who will be reading your business plan is you. You will be reading it to ensure that you are making moves (not just saying words) that are in line with your goals.

Your business plan will also be read by people outside of your company, such as potential investors and professional advisors, as well as vendors or distributors so that they can better understand how your company runs currently and what its future goals are.

  • I've been doing my business already without a plan. Why should I write one?

Failure to plan is planning to fail. Your business might be turning a profit, but this course will ensure that you are gaining maximum profits while showing you how to minimize expenses. Maybe it’s time for your business to expand or scale. We cover that in this course, too.

  • Does my investment in this plan qualify as a tax write-off?

YES! Make sure that you keep your receipts for your accountant. This qualifies as a business expense and as a “pass through” on your personal taxes.

  • Why don't you write my business plan for me?

In a sentence - because this is not my business! Yes, you can hire people to write your business plan for you. But I know firsthand that people will buy you before they buy your product. My goal is to not just help you to write a vibrant business plan, but to ensure you are strong enough to carry that blessing as well. My program is first focused on the spiritual aspect of starting a business. Yes, you will end up with a business plan at the end of the course, but my focus is much more concerned with who you are at the end of the course. And that work only you can do.

  • How does The Manifold Marketplace differ from other companies and why should I choose to work with you over them?

This program will cost you time, money, and commitment, but most of all it will cost you pride. I don't just teach you how to write a good business plan. I teach you to have the spiritual real estate necessary before you start building your company in the natural. Build your life - including your business - on The Rock so that you will not just have a business idea, but you will have the spiritual power to establish and grow your company. Before we start writing your business plan, we will uproot strongholds that have created toxic ways of thinking, false beliefs and generational curses to set in. We want a clean slate to work with before we start building your generational wealth capacity. We aren't going to build on top of the garbage heap!

Any idiot (literally) can start a business. There's a difference between people who start businesses and those who turn consistent profits and grow them. My program will make sure you're the latter.

This program is also all inclusive and will not just provide you with the roadmap and consulting necessary to write a plan but to truly establish a business. We cover everything from filing for your LLC to business insurance to bookkeeping and marketing.

  • I don't have an MBA or I've never taken a business class. Can I still own a successful business?

Absolutely! And in fact the root of that question is one of the things we will cover in this program! I also had never taken a business class prior to starting my first company. I did enroll in business classes after I started it and learning about my industry and market helped me create a five-year business plan that accelerated the growth of that business exponentially. You don't have to have a formal background in business to start this course. All you need to show up with is your entrepreneurial spirit, a growth mindset and will-not-quit grit.
